Who Am I? I am an emerging freelance journalist, specializing in environment-related topics. I have been a staff writer for the award-winning college newspaper, The Ithacan, at Ithaca College and have been an editorial intern for both E, The Environmental Magazine and The Conservationist. I've written newspaper articles, magazine how-tos, book reviews, and product reviews.

I am a recent graduate of Ithaca College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Environmental Studies and Journalism, and I have reported on a plethora of eco-related topics such as sustainable holiday spending, living off the grid, state park cuts, energy grants, and fracking demonstrations. I also cover non-eco topics, including adaptive snowsports and local music venues.

I am currently a wine tasting specialist, dabbling also in grant writing. But when I'm not working, you can find me doing photography (my best work of the natural world), snowboarding, piano, guitar, and hiking. And I keep a personal blog from time to time as well.
